Legalising a DBS certificate involves two steps: solicitor certification followed by apostille legalisation.
Because DBS certificates do not contain a valid issuing authority signature, they must be certified by a UK solicitor first.
Once certified, the physical document is sent to the FCDO for apostille. DBS certificates are not eligible for e-apostille, so only the paper-based process applies.
Our team can manage both the solicitor certification and the apostille process on your behalf for a smooth, hassle-free experience.
