What is Attestation from the UAE Embassy?

Attestation is a procedure to confirm the validity of the seal and signature on documents issued in the UAE or abroad. It is a service provided by MoFA in the UAE via its digital channels and by its embassies and consulates abroad.

Some requirements before submission:
Original document in English or Arabic (or an official translation of it)
Document must be attested by the appropriate governing bodies prior to submission. (We provide this within our services)
Document must not be laminated

Document Types

Individual Affairs Documents or Certificate of Origin which includes but not limited to: educational documents (certificate & transcripts are treated as two different documents) – birth certificates – death certificates etc.
Commercial Documents which Include but not limited to contract or agreement – commercial registration – appointment of a manager or a director – minutes of meeting of board of directors or partners etc.
Invoice (Attestation of Commercial Invoices)

Origin of Document

If the document is issued from UAE:

Document(s) MUST BE attested by the necessary governing authority or Ministry in UAE and a Customer Happiness Center in the UAE

If the document is issued outside the UAE (Issued in the UK)
Document(s) MUST BE attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The United Kingdom for Great Britain and Northern Ireland or an approved governing body for UAE Embassy/Consulate in The United Kingdom for Great Britain and Northern Ireland (The FCDO).
